Wage access

Landers Superstore teams up with Paywatch to become the first supermarket to implement Earned Wage Access (EWA) in the Philippines. Leading the launch of the EWA program are (from left) Paywatch head of marketing Jen San Antonio, Paywatch Philippines president Rowell Del Fierro, Paywatch Philippines managing director Sandeep Mulajkar, Paywatch co-founder Richard Kim, Paywatch BD and CSM manager Janice Funtano, Paywatch director of business development and partnerships Mariel Bitanga. The EWA program gives employees access to a portion of their wages before payday, providing greater financial flexibility to manage daily expenses and emergencies, while reducing reliance on short-term loans.
