StB Giga Factory opens the Philippines’ first manufacturing plant for advanced lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries for residential, industrial and utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) in New Clark City in Tarlac. The factory is expected to create around 2,500 direct and indirect jobs in engineering, technical, finance and administrative sectors by 2030, contributing over P5 billion annually to the local economy.
