University of Santo Tomas (UST) has strengthened its commitment to empowering future business leaders by signing a partnership with Junior Achievement of the Philippines (JA PH).
Through this partnership, UST will serve as the official exam center for the Registered Marketing Professional (RMP) and Registered Business Professional Certification Exams for the next three years, providing aspiring professionals with greater access to industry-recognized credentials.
The signing ceremony held on the 12th of March was attended by key university officials, including Assoc. Prof. Al Faithrich C. Navarrete, Ph.D. (Dean), Asst. Prof. Francis Lawrence B. De Jesus, Ph.D. (Assistant Dean), and Mr. Antonio E. Etrata, Jr., Ph.D. (Program Chair, Marketing Management), along with other academic staff from the Marketing Management program. Representing JA PH was Ms. Paula Patrice Dela Cruz (National Project Manager).
As a longtime member school of the RMP/RBP Certification programs, UST is providing access and conveniences to its students aspiring to validate their knowledge and gain a competitive edge in their chosen profession.
“This partnership with JA Philippines aligns with UST’s mission to bridge the gap between academia and career development. By embedding industry-recognized certifications like the RMP and RBP into our school calendar, we are ensuring our students graduate not only with theoretical knowledge, but with the practical skills and validated credentials necessary to excel in today’s competitive global marketplace,” shares Assoc. Prof. Al Faithrich C. Navarrete, Ph.D, Dean for College of Commerce and Business Administration.
This partnership between the two institutions is not just about building skills—it’s about opening doors, sparking ambition, and empowering young minds to turn their dreams into reality. It is about giving students the competitive edge.
