In her keynote address, Gov. Rafy shared her journey as a young leader, highlighting both her achievements and the challenges she has faced as governor. She also provided practical leadership insights for the youth officials, encouraging them to embrace their roles with confidence, resilience, and love for the people.

“Let us break free from the negative stereotypes that link age to leadership limitations… I am proof that the young generation is indeed the leaders of today… Kinaya ko, kakayanin niyo rin!” she declared, inspiring the participants to rise above obstacles and lead with a purpose.

“May we all be inspired by our takeaways from this Youth Development Convention and Policy Forum. May we rekindle our hearts for service. Magsilbi tayo nang buong puso at katapatan. Bawat isa sana sa atin ay tumindig at maging kabataang lider na ipaglalaban ka,” Gov. Ortega-David added.

The governor’s presentation earned her a resounding standing ovation from the audience. Many have expressed their admiration for her inspiring words. “Sobrang nagbigay at nag iwan ka po ng big impact sa aming mga young leaders gov. Big salute po!” said one participant in a Facebook comment.

The event also featured other messages and keynote presentations from esteemed officials and sector representatives, including NYC Chairperson and CEO Usec.
