Honda Reinforces Road Safety Commitment in the Philippines

In response to recent vehicular accidents, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), and Honda Safety Driving Center (HSDC) hosted the “One Honda Road Safety” event last June 16, 2025 with the objective to underscore the brand’s unwavering commitment to road safety awareness and its ambitious goal of a collision-free society by 2050. The event featured a morning seminar on safe driving and riding behaviors, hazard prediction, and vehicle maintenance. The afternoon provided practical demonstrations, including test drives of models equipped with Honda SENSING, Honda’s advanced driver-assist system. Participants experienced features like the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) firsthand, witnessing how the technology helps prevent or reduce the severity of frontal collisions. Motorcycle safety was also highlighted, with HPI showcasing models featuring Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Combined Braking System (CBS) for enhanced braking control.
