With the BYD Tech Tour making its way to the Alabang Town Center this June 20-22, BYD Cars Philippines is set to put on market another addition to their Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) pool — the Sealion 5 DM-i. The launch propels the expansion of their Super DM-i Technology vehicle range which aims to provide Filipinos with electrified mobility without range concerns, targeted as a value-oriented offering for young professionals and first-time car buyers. Ahead of its June 20 launch, interested buyers may now book reservations at their nearest BYD Dealerships. They may also visit the BYD Cars PH website to know more about the upcoming crossover that’s poised to take the market by storm.
The Sealion 5 DM-i follows the successful introductions of the BYD Sealion 6 DM-i and BYD Seal 5 DM-i. Bob Palanaca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines, talked about how the brand continues to add diverse options given diverse Filipino needs: “Our best-selling BYD Sealion 6 DM-i laid the groundwork for electrified mobility free from range anxiety. Now we are set to introduce the Sealion 5, another DM-i SUV that’s easier to own but is just as rich in value,” Palanaca stated. He emphasized that the Sealion 5 is designed as a “gateway into the world of BYD’s intelligent electric mobility,” offering a smart, stylish, and safe vehicle for drivers who prioritize innovation and usability.
The Alabang Town Center leg of the BYD Tech Tour will feature a complete onsite display of the brand’s vehicle portfolio, alongside interactive spectacles and opportunities for the general public to experience test drives, with the official launch of the Sealion 5 happening on Day 1 (June 20) at 11AM.
