31 out-of-school youth complete Foundever’s training program

Foundever Philippines has celebrated the graduation of 31 out-of-school youth from its “Learn2Employ” program, a move aimed at youth empowerment and inclusive employment.

Foundever is a global leader in the customer experience (CX) industry with 150,000 associates worldwide.

The ceremony, held at the Dolphy Theater, highlighted a partnership between Foundever, Unilab Foundation and Caritas Philippines’ Alay Kapwa Community Schooling (AKCS) program.

The “Learn2Employ” initiative provides marginalized young Filipinos with training and soft skills essential for today’s job market. The recent cohort completed their training in March, focusing on job readiness, communication skills, and workplace professionalism tailored for careers in customer service and business process outsourcing.

“Learn2Employ is more than just a program; it’s about empowering young individuals to transform their lives,” said Willy Lim, Foundever Philippines’ vice president for HR, marketing and talent acquisition.

“We are incredibly proud of each graduate for their commitment to learning and personal growth,” he said.

This year’s program aligns with Foundever’s broader mission to support out-of-school youth through employment opportunities, educational assistance and skills development. The initiative underscores the company’s belief in fair chances and its commitment to empowering individuals often overlooked in the job market.

Caritas Philippines honored Foundever for its contributions to the AKCS program. “At AKCS, our mission is to create opportunities for out-of-school youths to complete their education and enhance their employability,” said Rev. Fr. Carmelo Caluag, executive director of Caritas Philippines.

“With partners like Foundever, we are successfully fulfilling our promise to these young individuals,” he said.

Also in attendance were Joy Dela Cruz and Jephte Moneda, directors for recruitment sourcing and marketing, along with Eliane Therese Lansigan, recruitment manager for university and community partnership.

Foundever leaders lauded the graduates and reiterated the company’s support for initiatives that connect education, employability and social equity.

As Foundever continues to expand the “Learn2Employ” program and other purpose-driven initiatives, it aims to solidify its position as both a leading employer in the customer experience industry and a responsible corporate citizen invested in the Philippines’ future workforce.
