PH Hardware Foundation vows stronger industry collaboration

The Philippine Hardware Foundation Inc. celebrated its 105th founding anniversary and conducted the induction ceremony for its 2nd board of trustees and 83rd batch of officers on May 31, 2026 at Century Seafood Restaurant in Manila.

Honorary president Gerald Chan thanked the board and officers for their cooperation and called on the association to continue recruiting new members, enhancing collaboration with the government and industry, and strengthening the hardware sector. He expressed confidence in the leadership of incoming president Reynold Siy.

Honorary chairman Uy Khiek Peng encouraged the new leadership to continue building on the association’s accomplishments and contribute to industry development.

The induction of the new board was led by Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) president Victor Lim.

Lim recognized the Philippine Hardware Foundation as one of the four founding organizations of FFCCCII and commended its nationwide presence and contributions to national development.

New board chairman William Gosiaco administered the oath of office to the newly elected officers. He reviewed the foundation’s history since its establishment in 1920 and acknowledged the work of its past leaders. He pledged continued cooperation with various sectors in the Filipino-Chinese community and FFCCCII, with the goal of contributing to economic revitalization and stronger Philippines-China relations.

Incoming president Reynold Siy thanked the past leadership for their contributions and vowed to lead the organization in promoting unity, strengthening services, and enhancing integration with the local community.

He called on all officers to work together to further develop the association’s initiatives.
