Later, at 5 p.m., the Junior Altas will compete against the Letran Squires.

Coach Sandy Rieta and the Junior Altas are looking to reclaim the Boys’ Division crown, which the Mapua Red Robins won last year.

The Junior Altas hold 12 volleyball boys’ titles, with Rieta coaching six of those wins.

Letran, with five championships, last won in 2005.

The Junior Lady Altas are the reigning NCAA Season 99 champions, having defeated Arellano in a thrilling five-set Game 2 to win the series 2-0 last year.

Both the Junior Altas and Junior Lady Altas had dominant elimination rounds, sweeping their respective divisions with 9-0 and 6-0 records, respectively, earning them twice-to-beat advantages in the semifinals.

Key players for the Junior Lady Altas include Jaja San Juan, Sherrie Rose Acosta, Maya Javier, Isabel Baser, Ashlee Buenaventura, Jasmine Monte, and Janie Espiritu.

The boys’ team will rely on Charles Concina, Nathan Ciriaco, Kirby Alecida, Gabirel Macatuno, Zyro Ornos, Resty Santos, Miguel Dela Cruz, and John Lat.
