The Commission on Elections (Comelec) officially proclaimed the winners in Davao del Norte on Tuesday evening, with re-electionist Governor Edwin Jubahib securing another term alongside his daughter, Clarice Jubahib, who was elected Vice Governor.
In the congressional races, former Vice Governor De Carlo Oyo Uy was declared the new representative for the 1st District, while JM Lagdameo won the seat for the 2nd District.
For the Provincial Board, proclaimed winners in the 1st District were Lou Suaybaguio, Popo Estabillo, Bong Aala, Jane Ang, and Ronald. In the 2nd District, the winners were Jigs Rel Ampagos, Popop Catalan, Al David Uy, Orly Amit, and Poloy Enad.
Local positions across the province were also filled. In Tagum City, Rey T. Uy and Eva Estabillo were elected mayor and vice mayor. Panabo City winners were Jose Relampagos and Franklin Gentiles. Other winning mayors and vice mayors included Monet Federiso and Jun Lagumbay (New Corella), Leony Bahague and Marchell Perandos (Carmen), and Inday Rubinos and Inday Valle Campion (Braulio E. Dujali).
Also proclaimed were Toto Reyes and Chang Guindolman (Samal Island), Edgardo and Tess Timbol (Kapalong), Rosario and Eufracio Dayaday (Asuncion), Init Libayao and Dondon Gipulla (Talaingod), Papa Banot Gaje and Dagdag Cafe (San Isidro), and Angkol and Inday De Jessica (Santo Tomas).
