The long arm of the law finally caught up with a 65-year-old fugitive wanted for multiple counts of child rape and sexual abuse, tagged as among the “most wanted persons” in Gubat, Sorsogon.
The suspect, whose identity was not immediately disclosed by the police, was reportedly captured Wednesday night in Caloocan City by operatives of the Metro Manila police.

The arrest was executed by virtue of a warrant issued by Gubat Regional Trial Court for four counts of rape of minors and acts of lasciviousness.
The police employed rigid surveillance and monitoring prior to the apprehension.
