The Philippine Lun Hong Association celebrated its 85th founding anniversary and the induction of its 80th to 81st batch of officers at the East Ocean Palace Restaurant in Parañaque City on April 27, 2025.
Honorary president Cai Qinghe, who served as the chairman of the assembly, thanked the group leaders and fellow villagers for their strong support and help, which allowed him to successfully complete his work during his three-year term.
He said he believes that with new leadership and the teamwork of the new board, the Philippine Lun Hong Association will continue its good work, keep up with the times, and achieve even greater success.
Cai Shaorong was elected as the new president of the association.
Cai thanked all the fellow villagers for their support and for electing him as president.
He said that with the help and guidance of past leaders, and the teamwork of the new officers, the spirit of unity, cooperation and hard work will continue. He is confident that the Philippine Lun Hong Association will achieve new success and begin a new chapter for the group.
Philippine Qingyang Yanpai Chua Family Association president Chi Jianli acted as the inducting officer. He officiated the ceremonial turnover of the association’s official seal and delivered a congratulatory message to the new set of officers.
The event was also attended by notable guests, including Cai Bairong of the Shishi Municipal People’s Government Fengi Sub-district Office; Cai Jiayu, secretary of the Fengsi Sub-district Community Residents Committee; Cai Jhua, founding president of the Qinyang Cai Cian World Association; Cai Wenxian, president of the Fujian Jiyang Ke Cai Clan Association; Cai Shaoxiong, president of the Shishi Dalun Hong Kong and Macao Hometown Association.
Also gracing the event were Dante Chua, chairman of the FFCAP; Arian Hao, president of the PCCCII; Ke Wenwei, executive vice president of the Che Yong Cua Chua Association; Olando Bongat, president of the Filipino Chinese Shishi Townmate Association; and Cai Xiaoqiang, chairman of the Fujian Jiyang Ke Cai Clan Association Youth and Young Adult Committee.
Each guest delivered messages of support and encouragement, commending the association for its continued service to the Filipino-Chinese community and dedication to preserving cultural heritage.
