The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has donated over P90 million to fund the purchase of 40 dialysis machines and a CT scan unit for the newly inaugurated Pampanga Provincial Dialysis Center I.
The facility, developed through a public-private partnership, aims to expand access to essential medical services for residents of Pampanga and surrounding areas.
It will help reduce travel and financial burdens for patients in need of regular dialysis treatment.
Beyond dialysis, the center provides comprehensive support including nutritional counseling, social services, and patient education to address broader healthcare needs.
PAGCOR emphasized that the project aligns with the government’s ongoing effort to enhance public health services, especially in underserved regions. The donation supports the national goal of improving healthcare infrastructure and accessibility.
Pampanga officials expressed gratitude for the support, committing to ensure that underprivileged patients will receive treatment free of charge. The center is expected to serve thousands of residents and significantly ease the strain on local healthcare systems.
