Pocari Sweats hails Arbois campaign in Tokyo Marathon

POCARI Sweat-backed Arlan Arbois, Jr. has just made a breakthrough run in the tough and prestigious Tokyo Marathon over the weekend.

The 24-year-old 2023 Cambodia Southeast Asian Games silver medalist clocked two hours, 24 minutes, and 24 seconds to finish 125th out of 38,000 participants in the 42.195-kilometer race, considered the seventh toughest marathon in the world.

The Philippine Army personnel surpassed his previous personal best of 2:26.38 when he registered in a local event in December.

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd Philippines President and Managing Director Ken Saito congratulated Arbois and the other Philippine Team members who participated in the tournament.

As the official partner of the Tokyo Marathon 2025, Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd in close coordination with the Philippine Track and Field Association (Patafa) financed the trip of the Filipino marathoners.
