The Xunjiang Guild is the main organization for the Shi (Sy) clan in the Philippines.

Delegates from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao attended the event, along with key figures from the Filipino-Chinese community including the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc.  (FFCCCII) vice president Delfin Letran who served as the guest speaker during the ceremony.

Letran congratulated the guild on its anniversary and highlighted the importance of clan culture in the Filipino-Chinese community.

He said the shared bloodlines help strengthen the connections between the community in the Philippines and their ancestral homeland, promoting unity and support within the country and contributing to the nation’s progress.

Yi donated P100,000 to FFCCCII’s “Save the Lost Filipino-Chinese Students Grant Project.”

The donation was handed over to Letran, marking an important contribution to Filipino Chinese education and inspiring future leaders in the community to give back.

The event underscored not only the long-standing history of the Xunjiang Guild but also its ongoing efforts to foster unity, education and support within the Filipino-Chinese community.
