Oil spill marker

Pola, Oriental Mindoro Mayor Jennifer Cruz is joined by senatorial aspirant Benhur Abalos Jr. and other officials as they place their palm print and unveil the marker commemorating the second anniversary of the tragic oil spill. The oil spill caused by tanker MT Princess Empress sank in the waters off Naujan in Oriental Mindoro on Feb. 28, 2023 affected the livelihood of fisherfolk and residents in the island.
