‘Alyansa’ ramps up campaign, sets sights on key battlegrounds in March

Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, the powerhouse Senate slate backed by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., is moving full speed ahead as it intensifies its nationwide campaign, holding a major rally in San Jose del Monte City on Feb. 28 to cap off the month before heading to key vote-rich provinces in March.

Navotas City Rep. Toby Tiangco, Alyansa’s campaign manager, said the administration’s Senate slate is entering a critical phase of the campaign following a strong reception in its first six stops—Laoag City, Ilocos Norte; Iloilo City; Carmen, Davao del Norte; Pasay City, Metro Manila; Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental; and Victorias City, Negros Occidental.

“Momentum is on our side, and we are just getting started. From Luzon to Visayas to Mindanao, Filipinos have shown that they want leaders who will push for stability, continuity, and progress. Alyansa is ready to deliver,” Tiangco said.

The Alyansa ticket includes former Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Senator Pia Cayetano, former Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, Senator Lito Lapid, Senator Imee Marcos, former Senator Manny Pacquiao, former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, Senator Francis “Tol” Tolentino, ACT-CIS Representative and former Social Welfare Secretary Erwin Tulfo, and Deputy Speaker Camille Villar.

Building on its early campaign success, Alyansa is set to expand its reach in March, bringing its message directly to the people in Camarines Sur, Leyte, Pampanga, Cavite, and Laguna—provinces that will play a decisive role in shaping the outcome of the May 2025 midterm elections.

“We are taking our campaign to key areas. Camarines Sur, Leyte, Pampanga, Cavite, and Laguna are among the biggest provinces in terms of voter population. These are places where Filipinos want leaders who will work for them, and Alyansa is stepping up to that challenge,” Tiangco said.

Tiangco underscored that Alyansa’s campaign is not just about winning Senate seats, but about securing the future of the country by ensuring a strong, cooperative Senate that will champion economic development, job creation, infrastructure and social programs under the “Bagong Pilipinas” vision.

“This election is about results, not rhetoric. Alyansa is committed to action, not distractions. We will ensure that every Filipino sees the path forward—a future of opportunity, stability, and prosperity,” Tiangco said.

As Alyansa enters this crucial campaign stretch, it is poised to mobilize massive public support in the coming weeks, reinforcing its message of strong, decisive leadership in the Senate.

“We are not just campaigning—we are shaping the direction of the nation. The people’s trust is our greatest motivation, and Alyansa will not let them down.
