Held at the MINI BGC showroom last February 5, guests witnessed the unveiling of the ALL-ELECTRIC MINI ACEMAN and the ALL-NEW MINI COOPER 5-DOOR – two exciting models that re-exemplify the MINI experience.
All-New MINI Cooper 5-Door
The all-new MINI Cooper 5-Door combines the brand’s signature driving fun with enhanced space and practicality. Willy Tee Ten, President of the Autohub Group of Companies, described the novelty of having a 5-door by remarking, “Three’s a crowd, but five is definitely a party!”
With a length of 4,036 mm, a width of 1,744 mm, and a height of 1,464 mm, the Cooper 5-Door offers significantly more interior space compared to its 3-Door counterpart, comfortably seating five passengers. Its exterior features the iconic round headlights and an octagonal front grille, while standard LED headlights provide customizable light signatures. The rear showcases flush-fitting tail lights for a sleek look.
Inside, the cockpit is designed with a central OLED display and a head-up display for essential information. Sustainable materials, including recycled polyester, create a modern atmosphere. Additionally, the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant enhances the driving experience by allowing voice-activated control of various functions.
The all-new MINI Cooper 5-Door is priced at PHP 3,799,000.
All-Electric MINI Aceman
The all-electric MINI Aceman is the direct replacement of the Clubman and is the brand’s debut entry into the premium compact crossover segment. This vehicle, which comes out smaller than the Countryman in size, reinterprets the vision of classic Mini inventor Sir Alec Issigonis, who aimed to maximize space within a compact footprint. Measuring just over four meters in length, the Aceman comfortably seats five passengers and offers a versatile interior with cargo capacity that expands from 300 to 1,005 liters, making it ideal for various lifestyles.
Visually, the Aceman is striking with its sporty design characterized by a robust front end, short overhangs, and distinctive LED headlights that convey agility and confidence on the road. Its modern aesthetics are complemented by a minimalist interior, featuring a central OLED display and a redesigned toggle bar that pays homage to the classic Mini.
Under the hood, the Aceman is powered by an electric motor capable of ranging up to 407 kilometers on a single charge. It launches from 0-100kph in a swift 7.1 seconds.
The all-electric MINI Aceman is priced at PHP 3,550,000.
