Tetr College offers $10m scholarship fund for Filipinos

TETR College of Business, a new-age business school redefining entrepreneurial education through practical, and industry-focused experiences, opened applications for its Class of 2029. To support aspiring students from Philippines, Tetr has unveiled a total scholarship fund of USD10 million, encouraging talented individuals to join its transformative program. With the program’s inaugural cohort completing a very successful first semester in Dubai, Tetr’s new scholarship fund aims to grant access to top-tier education for even more prospective entrepreneurs across the globe.

Tetr’s hands-on learning model empowers students to actively build and apply real-world business solutions by building real businesses as part of the course. Offering a Bachelor’s in Management and Technology with UBI Brussels; Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence with Illinois Tech, Chicago; and Bachelor of Liberal Arts with Syracuse University, New York; Tetr’s program takes students across seven countries, immersing them in diverse business landscapes—from Silicon Valley’s tech ecosystem to Singapore’s dynamic markets. Students actively learn by launching and managing businesses, gaining real-world expertise in Dubai, India, Ghana, Brazil, Europe, and beyond. This approach equips them with the skills, insights, and adaptability needed to thrive as global business leaders.

The students concluded the first semester in Dubai in December, where they launched 23 dropshipping businesses, collectively earning over USD 138,000 with an average profit margin of 38%. Students built businesses in several categories across electronics and technology accessories, sports, electronics and technology accessories, home and decor, lifestyle and comfort as well as apparel and personal items. The teams also raised USD 15,000+ from various investors to scale their ventures.

Tetr’s curriculum enables students to witness business in action through its immersive business and cultural experiences. For instance, in Dubai, students explored Emirates Ebdaa to understand innovations in luxury aviation, and honed negotiation skills at Dubai’s iconic Gold Souk—one of the world’s oldest and most vibrant marketplaces known for its dazzling gold displays and rich cultural significance. They also discovered the blueprint behind iconic projects like the Burj Khalifa and gained insights into project planning, sustainability practices, and commercial strategies in real estate operations from 11 CXOs at Emaar Headquarters. At GITEX Global, they explored AI and tech, networked with founders and VCs, and pitched start-up ideas on the YouthX stage for expert insights.

Recognizing Philippines’s immense entrepreneurial potential and underscoring Tetr’s dedication to nurturing future business leaders, the institution has launched a USD1 million scholarship fund exclusively for Philippines’s students. This initiative aims to empower aspiring entrepreneurs to join Tetr’s transformative global program, offering unparalleled opportunities to learn and build businesses across diverse international markets.

Commenting on the success of the current cohort and this new announcement, Pratham Mittal, Founder of Tetr and Master’s Union said, “We are thrilled to announce the dedicated scholarship fund for the Philippines for our Class of 2029. At Tetr, we believe in the transformative power of education and entrepreneurship. Our goal is to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the resources, mentorship, and global network they need to turn their ambitious ideas into successful ventures. The scholarship fund is designed to remove financial barriers and empower the next generation of Filipino entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams with confidence. We are excited to see the impact these scholarships will have on the entrepreneurial landscape in the Philippines.”

Among the previous cohort of students is Filipino, Jojit Paolo C. Ramirez, an enthusiastic learner with a positive outlook and a talent for business and people management. He successfully managed his mom’s milk tea shop, which flourished under his leadership by focusing on strategic location, branding, supplier partnerships, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Reflecting on his experience in the TETR program, Jojit shared, “Joining TETR has been an exciting journey that perfectly aligns with my passion for business and connecting with people. The vibrant and supportive environment here has amplified my enthusiasm and allowed me to channel my positive energy into meaningful collaborations with my peers. Being part of TETR is an incredible opportunity to sharpen my leadership skills and grow my entrepreneurial potential. I’m eager to bring my unique perspective to the cohort, contribute to our shared success, and continue developing as a future business leader.”

The students have now started their semester in India, where they will be building their D2C ventures, leveraging insights from one of the world’s fastest-growing D2C markets, renowned for its innovation, consumer diversity, and digital-first brands.

Prospective students can apply for the scholarship via the Tetr website and from there they will be posed with an aptitude test, followed by an interview for the shortlisted candidates. Prospects who pass both stages may then be eligible for the scholarship.
