Senate President Francis ‘Chiz’ Escudero extended his warm New Year greetings to Filipinos on Tuesday, emphasizing messages of hope, unity, and wise leadership among government officials for 2025.
In his message, Escudero acknowledged the challenges Filipinos faced throughout 2024, but urged the nation to reflect on the year with gratitude and optimism.
The Senate President reminded Filipinos to carry the spirit of hope and solidarity into the coming year, expressing confidence in the nation’s collective strength.
“Although 2024 presented many challenges for Filipinos, we should reflect on this year with gratitude and optimism, knowing that brighter days lie ahead,” Escudero said.
“Looking ahead to 2025, let us carry this spirit of hope and solidarity into the new year. We can overcome any obstacle if we are united and together,” he added.
Escudero urged Filipinos to exercise their right to vote and choose wisely the politicians that they want to elect. He emphasized that the country needs leaders that will prioritize pulling the Filipinos out of poverty.
“Addressing the pressing issue of poverty requires leaders who prioritize poverty alleviation and social reforms. By choosing leaders who champion equity and prosperity for all, we can build a brighter future for our nation,” Escudero said.
