Cave in the city

Metro Manila-based spelunkers need not go far and wide to exercise their passion to explore what lies beneath the ground. They can do their thing right here at the La Mesa Watershed in Quezon City, site of the Apugan Cave discovered only in 2016. Department of Environment and Natural Resources worker Felipe Sore Jr. and forester Erisa Joy Arcillas lead the exploration of the cave on Friday.
