BPI’s assistance

BPI Foundation, the social development arm of the Bank of the Philippine Islands, teams up with Bayan Academy to provide livelihood training and employment opportunities to 50 unemployed and underemployed individuals in Siargao Island through the BPI Technical-Vocational Training program. Attending the graduation ceremony at Siargao Island Institute of Technology in Dapa, Siargao are (seated on stage, from left) Bayan Academy president and chairman Prof. Jay Bernardo, BPI Foundation executive director Owen Cammayo, General Luna Mayor Sol Matugas, Ms. Philippines Earth 2020 Roxanne Baeyens, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority provincial training administrator Marife Peña and former Surigao del Norte provincial board member Simeon Castrense.
