Militant groups held a protest rally at the Plaza Miranda in Quiapo, Manila before the start of the inauguration of President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday. The Philippine National Police earlier urged rallyists to hold protests at “proper” venues like freedom parks.
