Palace announces new appointments

Malacañang has announced new appointments of officials in the executive branch.

Jesus Domingo has been named Philippine Ambassador to New Zealand.

Demetrio Tuason has been designated Ambassador of the Philippines to the United Mexican States.

These states include Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Dominican Republic and Cuba.

Manuel Antonio Teehankee has been named Permanent Representative of the Philippines to the World Trade Organization (WTO) based in Geneva, Switzerland.

President Rodrigo Duterte signed their appointment papers last November 27.

The new officials are set to face the confirmation hearings of the Commission on Appointments (CA).
