NBI to open satellite outlet in Manila

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is setting up a satellite office at the Manila Central Post Office (MCPO).

This is to ease the overcrowding at the NBI headquarters stemming from the long line of persons applying for clearances, gun licensing and those who are processing requirements for work abroad.

Postmaster General Joel Otarra says, the satellite office will be in operation this month as his office celebrates its anniversary.

Otarra adds, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) will also put a satellite office soon at the MCPO in Liwasang Bonifacio, Intramuros, Manila.

MCPO is the head office of the Philippine Postal Corporation and it serves at the country’s main mail sorting and distribution center.
