The first major upgrade by the Philippine National Railways of its diesel engine locomotives fleet kicked off recently with the turnover of two Philippine National Railways locomotives by MRAIL Inc. and partner Desco, the sole distributor of General Electric Transportation (GET) in the Philippines. An “all-Filipino” team of MRAIL and Desco performed the rehabilitation works for PNR for almost 24 months.
