School officials of Jose Rizal Elementary School in Tayuman, Manila suspended the classes for Tuesday.
A bomb threat received on Monday night by a certain Teacher Mendez led to the decision.

The teachers called the bomb squad of the Manila police to inspect the school complex.
Police did not find any explosive inside the school ground.
Parents came to fetch their children as soon as school authorities announced the suspension of classes.
