Cultural ties

The Embassy of Japan and The Japan Foundation will hold the the 2016 J-Pop Anime Singing Contest Grand Finals to celebrate 60 years of Philippine-Japanese friendship. The program, which will include Japan’s No Plan Band, Kawaii 5, Doraemon and Friends, and 2015 J-pop Anime singing contest grand prize winner Maychell Hernandez, will he held from 1 to 5 p.m. on July 23 at the SM Mall of Asia. Admission is free.
